3. Natsume Yuujinchou Shi (2012)

Takashi Natsume is the youkai expert and master of the Book of Friends. He continues his journey towards self-understanding and acceptance with the help of friends both new and old. His most important ally and friend is the wolf spirit Madara—or Nyanko-sensei. He wears the usual disguise of a cat.

Subsequently, Natsume is then ambushed and kidnapped by a weird group of monkey-like youkai, spiriting him away to their forest. Nyanko-sensei then enlists the help of Natsume’s youkai friends and mounts a rescue operation. However, the forest of the monkey spirits holds many dangerous enemies including the Matoba Clan, Natsume’s old nemesis.

4. No Game No Life (2014)

They see anything like a game and life is just another lousy game. The duo eventually gets a strange e-mail challenging them to a chess match. Their victory changes everything.

Then, Sora and Shiro plunge into an otherworldly reality where they meet Tet, the God of Games. In this world, mankind rules through games.

5. One Punch Man (2015)

One Punch Man features a very ordinary Japanese citizen called Saitama . From the very beginning, his unique hobby is to be a hero. In his process to become a hero, he underwent a crazy training regime consisting of 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and run 10 kilometres every day. After that, he lost all of his hair in the 3 years.

One Punch Man takes on a satirical and comedic style on typical Shounen-type of anime. Saitama is so powerful that he defeats all his foes with 1 punch. Undefeatable and bored, we follow the adventures of Saitama on his journey of being a hero.

6. Mob Psycho 100 (2016)

The story tells the life of the main protagonist of Mob Psycho 100, Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama. Mob has tapped into his inner wellspring of psychic prowess at a young age but that very same power proves to be a liability. Using these powers comes with potential danger. In order to have better control over on his skills, Mob enlists himself under the wing of Arataka Reigen. Arataka is a con artist who claims to be a psychic but actually makes use of Mob’s powers for monetary gains.

Eventually, exorcising evil spirits on command has become a part of Mob’s daily, monotonous life.

7. Violet Evergarden (2018)
